Q1. A workshop participant:
You propose using default logic as the basis of your approach, but then you do not seem to make any concrete use of it. Why do you need it at all?
It is not used in a concrete way now, but it will in the forthcoming extensions where we allow for defeasible background knowledge as well as defeasible observations.
